Business Essentials Through Action (BETA) is a one-year module for first-year Business students that teaches fundamental business concepts through venture creation. Students work in teams to develop feasible businesses, with a $1000 start-up fund awarded to finalist groups. They apply skills in Business Negotiation, Management, and HR Practices, managing conflicts, and reflecting on experiences using an Entrepreneurship Thought and Action (ET&A) approach adapted from Babson College.
SB offers a three-year program that focuses on strengthening entrepreneurial mindsets through practical domain knowledge. Students engage in hands-on learning through industry-relevant experiences, including learning journeys, interactions with thought leaders, and global market exploration. They also work with industry partners and clients through paid-industry projects, enhancing their CV and gaining industry exposure before graduation.
