SB OverviewIn SP School of Business, 95% of our graduates progress to universities within five years of graduation. We offer a guided entrepreneurial pathway for aspiring business founders, providing access to potential cumulative seed funding of more than $50,000. Our consultant traineeship program is designed for students eager to begin their careers as business consultants in their respective diploma domains.
All Business students go through Business Essentials Through Action (BETA), a one-year module in their first year of study. The module equips students with the fundamentals of business through the context of venture creation. Students will work in teams to conceive and develop proof of concepts on feasible businesses. A start-up fund of $1000 will be awarded to the finalist group to help them actualise their business. Through the implementation and operating of businesses, students get to apply the skills and knowledge on Business Negotiation, Management and HR Practices as they work with suppliers and business partners, manage conflicts within their teams, conduct performance appraisals and reflect on their own experiences through an Entrepreneurship Thought and Action (ET&A) approach adapted from Babson College.
During your three-years at SB, we will strengthen your entrepreneurial mindset with practical domain knowledge. Regardless of your chosen course, you'll engage in hands-on learning through industry-relevant experiences, including learning journeys to organisations, interactions with thought leaders from various business sectors, and opportunities to explore global markets through study trips abroad. Our focus is to equip you with the skills and insights to thrive in the dynamic world of business.
