Making a mark in sustainability and alternative fuels- that’s exactly what our students Ding Yang, Jesselyn, Jervez, and Jin Wei from the Diploma in Chemical Engineering set out to do with their Vertical Microalgae Cultivator! 

Through their Final Year Project, they're a step closer to exploring alternatives for biofuel production, while highlighting the critical role Chemical Engineering plays in sustainability! 

Despite facing significant challenges throughout their Final Year Project, from cultivating their own microalgae to designing the cultivator, the team successfully overcame all adversities to achieve the working prototype you see in the photos today!
