From a young age, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in design. After studying Interior Design at ITE, I was captivated by how storytelling could be infused into set design. As I aspired to work overseas, I chose Singapore Polytechnic (SP) for its strong reputation, knowing it would provide me with a solid foundation.
At SP, I was actively involved as an EXCO member of the Environment Club and joined various CCAs, which expanded my outlook on life. Through community workshops, I became aware of social issues like poverty, which motivated me to contribute through food donations and other small acts of kindness.
During my internship at LemonFridge, I discovered my passion for graphic design through creating videos and presentations. My Final Year Project focused on revitalizing a community space, which strengthened my desire to design for social impact. SP and its lecturers, like Mr. Muzammil, have shaped me into a designer ready to explore new avenues.
