DEB students Year 3 students, Jerald Foo, and Elliot Chin, had been awarded the prestigious Tan Kah Kee Young Inventor’s Merit Award for their innovative project, AEROne, on 21 Sep 2024. The Award sought to award recognition to inventions that promotes safety; products that assist specific individuals such as the disabled; and inventions that seeks to improve daily lives.
AEROne is a modular hydroponics plant pod that encourages community gardening through integrated technologies that automate home gardening. Through this, it hopes to effectively blend the advancing technology of autonomous technology to heighten the aesthetics of flora within urban communities.
