Built Environment Transformation Learning Journey

SP was proud to lead the conversation on sustainability at World Engineering Day 2025: Charles Rudd Distinguished Global Lectures, hosted at the SP Convention Centre.

Guest of Honour, Minister of State, Assoc Prof Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, joined us for this insightful event, held in collaboration with The Institution of Engineers, Singapore (IES). With a focus on Circular Economy and Resilient Future, the event underscored the role of engineering in addressing global challenges.

We were honoured to welcome our keynote speakers, Ms Tita Yowana Alwis, Minister Counsellor, Head of Economy – Indonesia Embassy, and Mr Kelvin Wong, CEO, Building and Construction Authority (BCA), who shared invaluable insights into sustainable development and the built environment.

SP also celebrated the launch of the Built Environment Transformation Learning Journey! This initiative aims to equip companies with the tools and strategies to integrate sustainable practices, adopt advanced technologies, and position themselves for success in an evolving industry landscape.

A key highlight of the event was the panel discussion, "Navigating the Future: Circular Economy and Building Resilience," moderated by Prof Seeram Ramakrishna. We appreciate our esteemed panellists—Mr Yew Chiong Loh, Ms Suzy Goulding, Ms Kate Drews, Ms Karina Cady, Ms Violet Chen, and Mr Boon Jin Gan—for sharing their expertise and perspectives.

Through thought-provoking discussions, hands-on activities, and meaningful exchanges, SP continues to drive industry transformation and innovation—paving the way for a more sustainable tomorrow 🌏
