Course Objective

This course aims to help participants acquire an understanding of AI through the study of real life application and discover key ethical principles of AI application to consider how they can be applied in a real world context.

This course serves to provide an Introduction to AI and equip participants with AI and Machine Learning concepts like supervised, unsupervised and reinforcement learning. Participants will be familiar with the various applications of AI in our everyday life, and the relevant ethical principles and considerations that govern the proper use of AI, according to the Singapore’s Model AI Governance Framework. Participants will be able to apply principles of AI Ethics to ensure that the decisions made by the machine or algorithm are fair, just and transparent.
