The School of Mechanical & Aeronautical Engineering (MAE) traces its roots back to 1958 when the first Technician Diploma in Mechanical Engineering was launched in Singapore.

Through internships or industry-based final-year projects, you will get to work with technology groups on research initiatives and consultancy projects to develop commercial engineering products and solutions. As a centre of excellence in advanced manufacturing, MAE collaborates closely with industry partners to adopt advanced manufacturing and Smart Factory initiatives through co-locating industrial equipment, co-developing training materials, and co-facilitating lessons. Our goal is to equip students with industry-relevant training for the evolving manufacturing landscape.
MAE's technical capabilities in green energy and green building development enable us to contribute to the SG Green Plan's Energy reset and Green Building Pillar.
