How does space impact how we study, work and play? With the support of ground-up initiative, 6th Sense, and funding from the Majurity Trust, our students connected with the children at Kebun Bahru to find out the answers.
Our students engaged with the children at weekly activity sessions organised by 6th Sense. With a deep understanding of their current spaces and dreams of future spaces, the students created an outdoor interactive exhibition to share these the chidlren's narratives. Ideas to support the dreams of these children came from students, social service professionals, to service providers in the areas.
The National Heritage Board's Heritage Activation Nodes (HAN) initiative is a dynamic venture, encouraging community engagement and collaborative projects to celebrate the unique heritage of local neighbourhoods. In September 2024, HAN@Clementi was launched to celebrate the distinctive character of the area.
Year 2 students from the Creative Community Engagement with Psychology (CCEP) created three participatory drama workshop for children so that the latter can also appreciate our local heritage.
