EEE team won Ist Runner-Up at Singapore BusTech Grand Challenge 2024 on 30 Nov 2024. The problem statement was to design a comprehensive USB charging system that simplifies monitoring by maintenance teams, while establishing standardised specifications and optimal quantities of USB chargers across different bus models. This would enhance reliability and usability of on-board charging for commuters, ensuring seamless access to charging facilities during their journey.
EEE Team A.A.A created a solution of custom PCB Board design for USB charging with self-diagnostic capabilities, a feedback system and IoT integration for the maintenance team.
The students, Aidan Vibhava Gunawardhana (DCPE), Ang Yi Sheng (DCPE) and Subramani Arjun (DEEE) were guided by Fred Wei and Chong Siew Ping.
