The School of Computing (SoC) recently hosted the Youth Cyber Exploration Program (YCEP), a dynamic cybersecurity bootcamp, from June 12 to 14 2024. Aimed at igniting a passion for cybersecurity careers among youth, this year’s program saw the enthusiastic participation of 50 secondary school students at SP. Over the course of three days, these budding cyber enthusiasts engaged in interactive workshops to build their foundational cybersecurity skills and put their knowledge to the test in an exhilarating Capture-The-Flag challenge. The event not only provided a platform for learning but also fostered a spirit of competition and camaraderie among the participants.
