Making significant strides in the field of educational technology? That's exactly what Bryan Tan, our Year 3 Diploma in Applied AI & Analytics (DAAA) student, has done at his internship with the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine.
Bryan and his team developed a custom AI chatbot, Anatbuddy, to enhance medical students' learning and understanding of anatomy. They also conducted research comparing the effectiveness of ChatGPT with their chatbot, which was published in the prestigious Anatomical Sciences Education journal!
"I had an incredibly insightful internship experience. I got hands-on with emerging technologies like the Anatomage Table for virtual dissections, and I attended a course at Microsoft's HQ on advanced AI techniques such as Retrieval Augmented Generation. I also worked with several cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure, to deliver these applications over the Internet."
