Developing the intern: A year-long internship journey

During her year-long internship, Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) student Jaslyn Lau had an amazing adventure at Affyn Pte Ltd, a super cool Web 3.0 gaming, metaverse, and lifestyle company! She got to experience all sorts of exciting stuff like planning projects, writing code, testing, launching, and keeping everything running smoothly. Jaslyn worked with people from different countries too, including colleagues from Canada and France!

Her supervisor at Affyn, Mr. Wong Hejun, was impressed with how well Jaslyn did her job. He said,

"Jaslyn always finished her work on time and did a great job! She's a team player and makes everyone around her happy. When our Games team needed help, she jumped right in to lend a hand too. She's grown so much as a Blockchain Backend Engineer during this internship, and we know she'll be amazing in the future!"

While she was at Affyn, Jaslyn kept learning new things by taking special classes and getting certificates in cool subjects like MongoDB SI Associate Certificate, Solidity, and Test Driven Development. Her impressive performance won her an additional stint in Affyn as a Web3 / Blockchain Backend Developer after her graduation from her diploma before she commences her university life! It's clear that Jaslyn's time at Affyn was an incredible adventure that's only the beginning of her journey in the exciting world of technology.
