Singapore Polytechnic (SP) now has a Super Puma helicopter to provide students with hands-on experience for its diplomas. This unique opportunity is part of a collaboration with the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) and aims to enhance the learning experience for students pursuing the Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering and Diploma in Aerospace Engineering.
By gaining first-hand exposure to the Super Puma, a versatile military helicopter, SP students will develop a deeper understanding of aerospace engineering principles and practical applications. This hands-on experience will also equip them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the aviation industry.
The article by The Straits Times also mentioned SP’s Aerohub facilities and how SP will be working closely with RSAF to enhance students' learning.
