Our educators continue to make SP proud! Clarice Sim is this year's recipient of the prestigious President's Award for Teachers (PAT).

 As a Teaching and Learning Mentor at SP’s Media, Arts & Design School, Clarice Sim does not just teach - she transforms learning experiences. With a keen eye for data and an unwavering commitment to her students, Clarice has spent 11 years at SP redefining what it means to educate in the digital age.

Clarice’s motivation to become a teacher stems from her experience as a quiet, almost “invisible” student throughout her early education. It was not until university that a professor truly recognised her potential and offered her encouragement and support. This pivotal moment transformed her academic journey. Inspired by the profound impact that one attentive educator had on her life, Clarice became determined to be that same guiding light for her students. Driven by a deep commitment to ensure every student feels seen, valued, and empowered; Clarice strives to help each one reach their full potential, always with a deep sense of empathy.
