On 5 May 2024, a team of 27 students and 3 lecturers from the
Diploma in Optometry (DOPT) took a step towards better community health. They conducted a vision screening for approximately 100 residents living in Clementi. This event was a collaboration between SP DOPT and Clementi GRC, graced by the Guest of Honor, Dr Tan Wu Meng, the advisor for Jurong GRC.
The residents of Clementi had their vision and eye pressure checked, and attended a sharing session on common eye conditions that affect the elderly.
