Meet Emily Tan Ying En, our course medallist from the
Diploma in Optometry (Class of 2023)! Emily's interest in optometry first sparked in Secondary 2, where she realised the importance of eye health and the fear of losing one's sight. She hopes to further her studies at NUS Life Sciences with a minor in public health and aspires to conduct ophthalmological research (neuro-ophthalmology) at Singapore Eye Research Institute in the future!
