Shin Min Daily, 03 Jun 2024 - A group of youths launched an initiative to raise awareness about eye wellness through community engagement, attracting over 300 elderly residents. 14 youths from the East Coast Internship Programme organised the East Coast Health Quest event on Sunday, 2 June. Ng Bao Yi, a youth volunteer who graduated from SP Optometry, participated as a volunteer in the event. Using the knowledge she has acquired, she shared information about common eye diseases and prevention methods with attendees, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups.
