Singapore, 4 September 2024 — At BEX Asia 2024, Singapore Polytechnic (SP) showcased its commitment to transforming the built environment sector through strategic partnerships and innovative solutions. SP signed memorandum of understanding with the British Standards Institution, Kajima Development, and the Soilbuild Construction Group, focusing on enhancing productivity, digital adoption, and sustainability. These collaborations aim to develop a skilled workforce, drive innovation, and support industry-relevant projects and internships.
Minister for National Development, Mr. Desmond Lee, graced the event as the guest of honour. SP's participation highlighted its dedication to advancing digitalisation and sustainability, with innovative solutions like a mixed-reality construction workflow and AI-enabled parts management for intelligent maintenance. The event also marked the launch of the Built Environment Transformation Learning Journey, supported by the Building and Construction Authority, to inspire SMEs and students.
