We are thrilled to announce that our team of three students from the Singapore Polytechnic-Diploma in Integrated Events and Project Management (DEPM) has won the First Prize at the PCMA 2024 Global Student Competition!
The SP-DEPM Team’s innovative proposal for Global Space Startup Summit 2026 showcased exceptional creativity and a deep understanding of business events, standing out among a record-breaking 45 global entries. After being shortlisted as one of the top five teams, they delivered an impressive final pitch virtually on December 2, 2024. Their 5-minute presentation and 10-minute Q&A session captivated the judges and secured the top honour, ultimately winning the first prize.
As winners, the PCMA Foundation is awarding the team and its faculty advisor an All-Access Scholarship to Convening Leaders 2025 in Houston, TX, from January 11-15, 2025 including complimentary round-trip air transportation and accommodation. The team has been invited to present their pitch during Convening Leaders and will collaborate with the PCMA Team on a special project during edUcon 2025. This opportunity connects them with over 5,000 industry professionals, offering unparalleled exposure, networking, and career-enhancing experiences.
